Effective air filtration is highly desirable in hospitals, in particular in areas with critical air quality requirements, such as childrens' wards and Cancer Research applications. Hospitals are often located in congested urban area's which poses the problem of preventing smoke, diesel and other hydrocarbon emissions from entering the hospital environment.
